My Approach
Lisa Zoller, OT, Reg. (BC), BHK
My love of occupational therapy stems from my belief that engagement in meaningful occupations - the things we do in our daily life that are important to us, is key to living a rich and healthy life. I am passionate about using one's strengths and interests to support healing and recovery. I facilitate using client's unique interests and skills to tap into their personal motivation to create more purpose and meaning in their lives. How we show up in our daily life and what activities we engage in has an effect on our physical, mental, and spiritual wellness. I believe that healing happens with a strong therapeutic relationship, small conscious changes, and supportive accountability. Guiding individuals towards living in alignment with their purpose, values, culture, and belief systems, is a method I use to bring about long-term recovery and health benefits. I believe focusing on abilities and empowering individuals to embrace a more holistic and balanced lifestyle supports restoring and developing resiliency.
What people are saying
"As a former first responder I was diagnosed with PTSD. Stuck in "fight, flight, freeze" mode and not truly understanding how to deal with the symptoms. With the help of weekly meetings with Lisa, I am able to cope and understand PTSD. The strategies and tools that Lisa walked me through helped incredibly. Lisa's kind and uplighting style of therapy was truly a life changer for me."

"Recovering from a concussion has been a challenging process, but Lisa has been such a positive part of that journey. She took the time to listen to what I was struggling with each session and could always provide me with practical tools and strategies to help. Her encouragement and ability to suggest realistic, manageable activities made a real difference in my recovery. She also helped me maintain a more positive mindset when feeling stuck, reminding me of the progress I had made and helping me focus on the small wins. I’m so grateful for her guidance."
